AFCA needed a scalable marketing tool to reach out to sponsors and donors that concisely and clearly conveyed all of the aspects of the non-profit. With so many ways to give for volunteers and donors, and so many crucial programs in place for those the organization supports, it was important to create a deck that could change and grow as they did. It can also be talored as needed for specific presentations. 

Wildwood Film Festival has been around for 15 years promoting Wisconsin film talent of all kinds and educating the community about the art form.

Liberty Bottles partnered with American Foundation for Children with AIDs to create an in-hand, daily recognition of a community in need on the other side of the world. Despite the real plight of children living with HIV in Africa, the message that "Hope Abounds" brings us together and reminds us that no matter what you are going through, the care of others can breed optimism and literally save lives. It's as easy as a focusing your intentions and giving a little money to an organization that brings medical supplies, education, trade instruction and so much more to communities that are ripe for change.

I absolutely love the world of print and paper. So it has been a unique honor to work with Appleton Coated Papers on various projects, creating stock guides, swatch books and other various support materials. 

The HOW Design Conference brings industry professionals from all over the globe and is highly regarded as the industry's premier symposium. I worked with Appleton Coated to create their tradeshow booth at the conference and highlight their new lines of state of the art papers. In addition, Hamiliton Wood Type Museum did an on-site demonstration inviting participants to use the paper with classic printing styles. 

RIVER + BAY is an online magazine and digital video channel. Showcasing all things arts and culture in Northeast Wisconsin, its' stories are catalysts that foster community engagement, participation, appreciation and conversation. Working closely with the Creative Director and Editor, I created the logo and basic branding, as well as the printed publication.

When an architect and artist who both love mid-century design and illustration get married, you try to design something that can do that matrimony justice. Borrowing from Charlie Harper and other mid-century designers, who also wanted something simple, I illustrated these love birds who were eventually featured in HOW Magazine's 2015 Regional Design Annual. 

CHAOS Magazine is an indie online and offline fashion publication that I've had the honor of working with to create modern, fashion forward spreads. 

When I found out that I had a little one on the way, I scrounged stores and the internet for a perfect book to capture the memories of such a pivotal life experience in a way that felt sweet and special. To my dismay, what I found were sort of cheesy, cutesy or thrown together books that felt cheap and emotionless. So, I started to make my own book for myself. I drew all the pages and didn't obsess over them like I usually do because new mom's don't always have time to be perfect and I was just making it for myself and my family. After getting it printed, I had so many friends ask for a copy that I eventually went on to publish the book. Now it can be found at various stories around the state, as well as in my humble (i.e. painfully small) Etsy store. 

The book has had such amazing feedback, as well as won some design awards, and I am honored that hundreds of kids will look back on their parent's memories someday on pages that I crafted in the throes of new motherhood for my own son. 

Every year, Kia's Top Dealers join the President of Kia on a luxurious trip. To entice this small elite group, wood inlaid boxes with custom inserts were created. Each box held invitations and important information that was enclosed in custom embossed, foiled and die-cut enclosures, adorned with ribbon and metal clasps. A thumb drive with accolades and marketing materials was enclosed for each dealership. 

For several years, I worked with Creative Group, Inc. to theme, brand, and create all of the collateral for Kia's National Auto Dealership events. From the Save the Date all the way to event decor, I worked with the client to create a cohesive and visually evocative experience. 

I won't deny it. I'm a hardcore music junkie and Sunny Day Real Estate is one of my all-time favorite bands. So when approached by front-man Jeremy Enigk's manager to design his long-awaited solo album my heart skipped a beat. Wanting something pure, nostalgic and simple, we used old pictures and drawings from kids (as well as me drawing things while wearing an oven mitt).

As a board member for the local Advertising Club three years running, I was in charge of organizing programs and events for the club, as well as designing the marketing materials. The programs were branded with a consistent look and feel for the year and used across all media platforms.

In a special twist of fate, the communication campaign — capped by promotions for the Addy Awards Event — was prized with it's own Addy Award. 

A touch of elegance, mixed with a touch of natural beauty was the perfect combination for this pair of newlyweds. In addition to simple invitations, we created a newspaper program for attendees to to the celebration.

From businesses, to events, to non-profits, to publications, to start-ups, I'm frequently involved in creating visual identity and logo design for a wide gamut of clients. Although a logo doesn't stand for the full brand, it's an important ambassador to the organization.
